Hash 1479 – THURLESTONE:
After months of missing the wonderful hash,
I left last Wednesday in a bit of a dash.
Arriving in a field, getting soaked by the rain,
“This is fun”; “I love it!” – trying to remind myself again.
WetSpot was noticed chasing a certain harriette,
But we never found the answer: how close did he get?
Can’t Come finished in perfect form,
A dip in the sea, the calimg of the storm.
“My glass is never half empty,” said Ging Gang, with one on the go,
“I make damn sure it’s topped up long before it gets that low!”
Walking back up to the On Down I found out that I had a new wife,
Though it turned out to be someone I’d never met in my life.
Lovely to meet you, Claire, now known as Bo Peep,
After efforts made on a previous hash to save a tangled sheep.
Though Olive had failed to meet the name with the face,
She had set on on the hash with quite astonishing pace (overtaking Gaffer and WetSpot with style, elegance and grace).
Thank you to The Rock Box, though they only donated two beers:
As tight as a tick’s arse, but they still went down with a “cheers”.
Myself, Bo Peep, Just Horny and Winnie lined up for our Down Downs, still wet,
And were joined by hares, Spotty Botty and Filth, for a hash that I won’t forget.

Down Downs were awarded to:

Spotty Botty – Hare
Filth – Hare
Bo Peep – naming
Just Horny – returning hasher
Second Coming – mistakenly married-off, and then divorced, by Olive; nominated to write The Words
Winnie – wrong place, wrong time (or right place, right time…?)!

On On to SOUTH BRENT (again!!)).
