First, a little reminder for all who would like and might be able to attend:

The funeral for the lovely Twin Buffers (Audrey Rendle) will be held on Tuesday 11th March at 3.30pm at St Mary Magdalene Church, Torquay, TQ1 4BX.

Following the service, there will be a wake at The Anchorage Hotel, Aveland Quay, Torquay, TQ1 3PT, where refreshments will be served.

N.B. It is requested that no black be worn, but plenty of colour.

(Ed. Only GM can rule as to whether the above counts as WetSpot adequately discharging his Scribe duties – although, it may be noted in his defence that he had spent the whole of that same day laying the trail while suffering cracked ribs – and Dimwit – which arguably demonstrates commitment to the hashing cause well over-and-above reasonable expectations…)

Down Downs went to:
• Dimwit and WetSpot – hares.
• Wily Waiver – ordering food under his civilian name.
• Nice Buns – ordering food then giving Muckspreader the slip (Ed. sometimes, just sometimes, hunger levels demand a touch of carefully-judged evasive action… Shameful or astute behaviour[?]: you decide!)
• Py – for ‘sh*t-flicking’ – nominated Pugsley
• Olive – greedy parking; disturbing/being disturbed by an unusual character (not WetSpot) lurking in the woods; finding the trail…
