The Village Inn have the match on. They are expecting it to be v.busy. A circle up at 6.30, another at 7 and another at 7.30. This will allow those who want to watch the match will be able to and those unable to get to 6.30, can also do the hash. There is a beer stop. Village Inn will be able to do cheesy chips/chips and anything off the normal menu. Order on the night. This same arrangement is similar to last time England were in WC S-F in 2018 at the Odd Wheel in Wembury. Should be a good night.

…So, in summary: there were deceptive arrows, multi-media (incl. that special, invisible flour) marks, and utter confusion…BUT there were also Long and Short (and probably Walkers…?) trails, no less than three staggered starts to accommodate World Cup viewers/agnostics, stunning sun-bathed coastal vistas (a dip if you hadn’t already been horribly lost and weren’t desperate to get back for the game), and beer stop with a view (and homemade cakes) to enjoy.

No RA or down downs owing to the strung-out nature of the evening, but thanks to the hares, Dirty Bum Bum (virgin lay! 👏), Filth and Olive, for setting the scenic trails, accommodating phased start times, and laying on very welcome refreshments.

ON ON to HEMERDON.
