The Abbey Inn is set in a 3 storey quarry house dating from the 18th century and remains hidden from of the road. We are situated in an enviable position in the heart of beautiful Dartmoor, which makes us the ideal resting spot for walkers, nature lovers and those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Friends with paws are welcome – they can enjoy a drink as much as you with the addition of free dog biscuits too! After a long dog walk relax with your pooch at The Abbey Inn. Please note that we are happy to welcome your dog on the terrace and in the bar however we do not allow dogs in the bedrooms or restaurant unless they are of course Assisted Dogs
