Having been rescued from a Pub Co in 2016, this free house pub is being refurbished by the present landlord, but at the time of writing (June 2016) is very much work in progress. It is a friendly cosy Devon village pub on the main road from Totnes to Kingsbridge. There is a large bar and a separate pool room, lovely stone walls and rustic woodwork. Although there is no pub garden, people can drink overlooking the river (ask for plastic glasses). A small village car park or street parking exists. Food such as bar snacks and takeaway pizzas are planned for the future
